I had some free time while M is sleeping and the boys were outside and I was thinking.  (scary huh!)  Anyway for anyone who doesn’t know I’m going to have a booth at the Cream Cheese Festival here in Lowville on Sept 15, 2007.  The fair is from 11-6 and it’s going to be great.  So you will all have to come find my booth.  Here are some highlights…

I’m displaying my work for all to see.  I’ll have a bunch of different prints on display that just basically shows what I offer as a photographer as well as products you can purchase after a session.  I’ll have my 2007 Holiday Cards on display if anyone is interested in seeing them in person.  They are also on my website in the gallery section as well. 

I’ll be doing a drawing for a free session that includes a complimentary 11×14 print.  So you definately have to come and sign up for that.  Also for the month of Sept only my portrait collections are 15% off, but if you come to the cream cheese festival, find my booth and book a session that day (you need a $50 retainer) then you get an additional 20% off.  Your price would be locked in for 30 days.  So instead of 15%  you would get 35% off and you also would still get the 50 complimentary 5×7 Holiday Cards from your session.  Cool huh.  But it’s only for this one day.

What else… Oh I’ll be selling landscapes too.  Most of the one’s on my gallery page will be with me already framed in my booth.

Today is officially the last day of my summer special. I hope that doesn’t mean it’s the last day of nice weather though!

I’m leaving today at 3pm and will be gone for the weekend so call or write before then to make your appt and lock in those special prices for 30 days!

This weekend is my last mini vacation before school starts! C is actually going to school. Somedays I can’t believe it!

This is the last Monarch butterfly we hatched this year! Throughout the summer we hatched about 15 of them. The kids love it and I always let them hold them for a bit while they are drying and before they fly away. We do it every year. Such fun!

I’m still in need of Maternity and Newborns to expand my portfolio.  I’m extending my special for that for an undetermined period of time:)  Pay for a maternity session and receive a complimentary newborn session.

I recently did a maternity and will be doing the newborn soon and I really loved it alot but need to do more so my porfolio is nicely rounded!

Today seems to be better so far!!  Knock on wood.  C is now feeling better and we went to orientation so that was great.  We came home and lo and behold L was sick.  Crying terribly with a headache and puking.  Just like his brother.  Today though he seems to be doing fine.  It would be great if it would just leave the house and not touch anyone else, especially M.  We are going to be away for a few days this week and I really want to go.  No sickness!!! 

Nothing really new going on in the photography business here right now.  I just got my order in the other day for all the stuff I need for the Cream Cheese Festival.  I’m going to be selling prints as well as booking sessions.  Anyone who books a session that day and pays their $50 retainer gets a huge discount on any collection!  Now I sound like Fucillo’s “It’s HUGE!!”  Ha!

No really it should be fun and I hope to meet alot of new people and really get my name out here in my town.  Not very many people know I’m out there but that’s going to change.
