Really can it be more annoying to have the forecast to call for rain on a day I have a wedding scheduled.  At this point I’m just praying that it holds off for at least the outdoor ceremony.  Especially for the bride and groom’s sake.  Either way I’ve got extra clothes and a couple of those big umbrella’s.  I hope I can get some cool shots using those wet or dry!

My bags are packed, I’m ready to go, the kids are going to grammas and I’m so excited!!!  Maybe I’ll sleep tonight but probably not

I will for sure post some sneak peeks in a couple of days.  So be watching for them.

Yesterday my mom, the kids and I went out to my grandparents gravestone and planted some flowers. It was nice. It’s been 10 years since my grandmother passed and 5 for my grandfather. I still miss them

Today was a nice day. We always do the parade and chicken BBQ in Copenhagen every year for Memorial Day. Thankfully the rain held off until all the chicken was sold and the parade was done. It’s nice to remember our loved ones who have passed and to spend time with the ones who haven’t.

We are home now and 2 of our 3 children are sleeping and J is going to mow the lawn. Nothing much else going on.

We went to Boldt Castle this weekend as well. It was a beautiful day and the kids had a great time. It’s so nice there. I’m shooting a wedding out there in June and J and I spent the day saying “oh that will be a great spot for pictures”. I’m really looking forward to it.

Obviously I must be bored today as I’m posting twice!! LOL

I was just thinking that it’s less than 2 weeks until my 1st wedding of this year!!  I’m so excited.  The location is awesome, down in Cicero right on the water.  The bride is beautiful and it’s just going to be a good time.  I’ve been getting all my equipment and stuff ready to go.  My mom is planning on watching the kids and my wonderful hubby is planning on assisting me.  It’s just really going to be great!

It’s supposed to be cold all week.  What’s up with that?  I actually had to turn on the heat this morning.  Bummer.  Last year we were swimming on Memorial Day weekend.  I’m thinking that’s not going to happen this year.  It hasn’t even really been warm enough to clean it out good.  I wish it was warmer.

It’s almost June… which means my oldest son only has a few more weeks of school left.  Seriously where does the time go.  It seems like it was just the other day he was getting on the bus for the first time.  He’s grown so much in the last year.  He can read now.  Amazing that they go to school for a few months and they can read and count way farther than when they started.  I’m glad we decided to send him to school.  Being homeschooled for part of my highschool years, it just wasn’t for me to do with my children.  My mom is a brave and dedicated woman to have dedicated herself to schooling myself and my brother.  My brother is graduating this year.  Ok yeah that makes me feel old.  I’m so proud of him

Just wanted to say hello and happy Monday.  The rain suits my mood today.  I got it into my head yesterday that I wanted to change the background and colors on my blog.  Well I’m kind of html and css illiterate so it took me a LONG time.  So I ended up staying up way to late (or early) last night.  I will pay for it today but hey at least I figured it out.  I think it looks great.  Feel free to add a comment in the comment section.
