    lowville fair parade tonight

    Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

We are getting ready to head over to town and watch the parade tonight!  I’m really looking forward to it.  I’m sure I’ll have some pictures to share later this week.  The kids with ride with papa R on the horses at the end of the parade.  They get the best of both worlds, watch the whole parade and then be in the parade as well!

Just wanted to pop on here and just say hello!

great ny state fair blog contest

    Thursday, July 10th, 2008

The other day I decided to enter 2 of my pictures in the NY State Fair print competition. I paid my entry fee but am having trouble deciding which pics to send in. So I decided I needed your help…

Each person that leaves a comment HERE on my blog or sends me an e-mail (ellenicolphotography@twcny.rr.com) voting for which pictures I should use will be entered into a drawing for a half price session and a complimentary 8×10. I know people read my blog and if you want to book a session but haven’t for some reason or another, whether you’re a highschool senior, or whatever now is the time to do this. If you win it gives you the perfect opportunity to try me out!!

So here are the 3 that I’m considering…

Ok so now leave your comments right here on my blog or send an e-mail and I will add your name to the drawing. I’ll need a name and e-mail address from you so I can contact the winner.

DEADLINE for votes is Thursday July 17th at 8pm

DRAWING to be held on Friday July 18th with the winner to be announced on the blog, along with the winning entries for the fair!!

Thanks so much and I’m looking forward to your votes!!!!!!!

I wanted to also quickly mention that the deadline for Holiday Sessions is November 15th. I’m working on my holiday session package and will give out all the details in a little bit. Just wanted to get your brains thinking about it ahead of time!! It will be here before we know it.

    home sweet home

    Monday, July 7th, 2008

I love coming home and sleeping in my own bed after being away for a few days! LOL So needless to say we are home and happy to be here. Yesterday was spent relaxing and enjoying the hot summer day out by the pool.

Our vacation was great though. The kids enjoy camping so much. It’s a lot of work but overall a nice family vacation!! Here are some snaps to share…

Our brush with wildlife right before we left to come home.  A wild deer just stopping by for some animal crackers.  The boys were excited to feed a real deer.

I’m officially back to work today!  I should have a couple more slideshows up from the last 2 weddings I did very soon.  So watch for those.

    Have a happy Monday!
