I just wanted to blog about this quickly.  It’s getting about the time for bookings to come in for the 2009 wedding season!  I can hardly wait.

I’m planning on doing a dedicated wedding website within the next month or so to launch in January 2009.  It’s going to be great!  It will be an easy way for my clients to view my portfolio, check out my prices and learn why I love doing wedding photography!  Once things slow down around here I will be able to get it done! 

On a more personal note our housing project is coming along nicely!  Did I mention that I will have my very own space for a studio inside upstairs???!!!  It’s going to be so great.  No one who looks at my images knows that I use a space in my basement and my office is in my living room!!  LOL  It’s not very convenient having everything spread out all over and invading my families space when I have clients here.  I love my clients and I can’t wait to be able to sit with them in my warm, inviting new studio space.  I’m not sure when it will be ready but it’s really going to be great when it is!!

I also did our Christmas card photos the other day!!  I will post them on the blog after I send them out in the mail.  I love making my own cards and it’s a challange to come up with a more original idea each year.  We alternate with the pictures for the cards each year and this year it was just the kids.  They turned out amazing!  That’s all I’m giving you for now!!!  Watch for them within the next few weeks, I normally like to get my cards in the mail by the first week of December.  I don’t want to ruin the surprise for my family and friends

I’ve been meaning to write about this all week but it’s been crazy busy here and if you scroll down farther you will know why!!  LOL

Jared Zehr of Croghan is doing our contruction and he’s doing an amazing job!  His crew is fast, efficient and just pleasant to be around.  If you are in need of a job done and done right give him a call.

I had to leave at 11am to go shopping and this is what it looked like.

Fast forward to around 5:30pm when I got home and this is what it looked like. The guys seriously rocked this day. Everything went up soo fast!

Day 4

By the end of day 4 they had all the roof done. As of today they have paper on the side and most of the soffet etc done to keep it dry during wet weather. I just haven’t had a chance to upload those pictures yet.

I am so amazed at how fast everything came together. It’s really great! There is a lot of work yet to be done but the Lord just blessed this past week with the timing of the weather being so nice while they had everything torn apart.

I did this session today and oh my these 2 were sooo sweet and cute. Thanks Mom and Dad for having me do the session with the kids. Even though they were a bit shy it was fun for me!!

Little D fell asleep at the end of the session. He was so tired. Mom and I just sat there for a few minutes watching him sleep and so I snapped a few.

I’m finally getting back into the swing of things and am posting a sneak peek for Rob & Rachel.  Their wedding was awesome and the location in Snow Ridge was beautiful.  I was glad to be a part of their day!!
