This weather is making me crazy!! LOL I’m looking out the window and all I see is white everywhere. I’m counting the days till summer already and it’s only January!!
My house is a disaster… our contractors are back and I’m so glad. It’s messy but will be worth it in the end. I’m thinking of specials for my studio open house. So be watching/reading to find out what they are. I will be so excited to show everyone the finished project. I can hardly wait!! 
I’m extending the $50 print credit with any new sessions until the end of the month. Now is a great time for maternity portraits, newborn sessions, and just getting the family together making memories type of sessions!
I’ve got most of my stuff ready for the Bridal Show at the Elk’s in Lowville as well. I ordered 2 new sample wedding albums and I CAN NOT wait until they get here. They are going to be amazing. I have been looking for something on the higher end side to offer for my 2009 brides and I finally found what I was looking for. I will have them by the show so come and see my booth. The albums are pricier than the albums I have been offering but once you see them you will know how worth it they are.
When I got married my aunt did our wedding photos. She’s a wonderful lady and had a knowledge of photography but honestly I really wish I would have spent the money and hired someone professional. I don’t have fancy albums or any of the cool stuff that is out there now. The poses are static and just so so. It was such a beautiful day but the images just really don’t do it justice. So just a word of knowledge and experience for any prospective brides, take the time to find the photographer that is a perfect fit for you. Don’t worry about money either. I know with the economy the way it has been it’s hard to find the extra to spend but it’s almost the most important thing about your wedding day. Just my 2 cents!
