I just wanted to remind everyone that right now my studio sessions include a $50 print credit.  Right now I’m booking my session for the middle of March.  I’ve got a ton going on right now and need to finish up the studio.  So if you call to book be aware that your session will take place in a few weeks.  Of course if you have a time sensitive session like a newborn or a maternity then I am more than happy to get you in right away!

Spring really is coming so it’s a good time to book your spring session in the new studio!

The new studio isn’t ready for clients yet but it’s getting close.  In the meantime I just couldn’t resist playing around up there.  It’s totally awesome.  The light is amazing and just to have my own space is so worth it.

I’m so in love with my studio.  It’s getting really close to the time when I will be booking for my grand opening special.  I can’t wait to show it off to you all.  So keep checking back and I will be posting the details for the grand opening as soon as I get a chance.

While I was up there in the studio I did my first commercial work session!  My friend that sells the handbags asked me to do some shots of her bags for her new spring/summer 2009 catalog.  It was fun.  We laughed and had a great time.  Her bags are awesome and I’m proud to put them on my site for her as well as give each one to my 2009 Brides this year.

So I went to the Bridal Show in Lowville yesterday and it went well.  It wasn’t as busy as it was last year but I talked with a lot of people.  I wanted to remind everyone that my packages are $200 until February 21st.  Also if you book with me the bride receives a complimentary handbag.

I wanted to put some pics up of the house as it’s getting close to being done.  We are priming upstairs and very soon I am going to give everyone the details for my studio grand opening special.  I can’t wait for it to be done and to show it off. 

Here is the kitchen as of last weekend. We are still waiting for a few cabinets that were on backorder and we installed the countertop just the other day. I haven’t had a chance to upload those pics yet. (Josh and C are putting the handles on the doors in this one)

This is what my studio looks like right now. I’m going to start priming and painting it this week. Then it will need flooring installed and my stuff put in there and it will pretty much be done. So just a little while now. It has it’s own entrance so will be so much more convenient for myself and my clients.

I hope to have more later this week of the countertop etc but I also know I will be soo busy with trying to get everything painted and ready to go.  We are doing a lot of the finishing touches ourselves so it might take a bit longer.

I wanted to do some talking about High School Seniors for 2010!  That seems so far away but now is the time to start thinking of what you want for your Senior images.  I do a combination of outdoor and indoor images and any of the Seniors I did last year were awesome to work with and we had a great time.  I also give the opportunity for one guy and girl from each school district in the area to be my Senior Rep.  You get lots of cool things for telling all your friends about me and having me do their senior session.  If you are interested please let me know.  If you qualify to be a rep then I will do a mini session in my studio just to get a few images for you to pass out to your friends with all my info on them.  The more referrals you have the more free stuff you get!  Sounds like a good deal right??  Give me a call or send me a note if you are interested.
