My first Senior of the year…! Sometimes it’s just awesome having someone come into the studio who sits there and listens to everything I say! LOL It’s great! Thanks so much Taylor for coming in and I hope you like your sneak peek!

This was a wedding I did back in October of 2009. With the business of fall last year I realized that I never blogged it. So I thought I would share with you a few images. These are from the reception which was at the Vineyard. It’s a beautiful place and we had a great time!
I just wanted to let everyone know that we’ve had a bit of a rough week here in the Nicol household. My wonderful husband Josh had a seizure at work this week, spent some time in the hospital and is home now. He’s doing good but very tired. So long story short I’m trying to be both mom and dad in some situations while he’s (supposed) to be resting. So it’s going to take me just a little bit longer to get orders done and galleries up. I hope to not get too far behind but I just wanted to let people know.

This little girl came to my studio and was just so sweet! She started off smiling great and even after taking a tumble she still was smiling…until we gave her the cake!! LOL It’s the funniest thing watching a one year old with a cake! She was crawling all over during the session, trying to get away and investigate the studio except when that cake was there. It was soo cute. She really didn’t like being messy and kept looking at mom and dad wondering what was going on. Thanks to her parents for being such troopers with getting her to smile and have some fun!! Enjoy your preview…the rest of the gallery will be up soon!

I was so excited when this lovely lady contacted me and wanted to come to the studio for a session with her son. I did a family session for them about a year and a half ago and B has grown so much since then. When they got here I was a bit nervous because he didn’t want anything to do with me or getting his pics taken. I thought for sure we were going to have to reschedule. After a while though he warmed up to me and then he was all smiles and laughter! Thanks so much for coming C & B!! The rest of your gallery will be up very soon!
I still have room for ONE more session in May then it’s on to June! It’s also time for the Seniors to choose a photographer for their senior portraits! I’m super excited about doing more Seniors than I did last year. I’m designing my marketing materials this week and they will be going to the local schools very soon. The best time for Senior portraits is June, July & August. I’m offering some very cool deals for those of you who book early this year so watch for those!!
