Ellen Nicol Photography is hosting a Cutest Kid Contest! Beginning April 1st you will be able to submit a photo of your cutest kid, and the winner will receive a free mini photo session (30 minutes in length, max 4 people) with Ellen Nicol Photography, as well as 5 high resolution images on CD.

TO ENTER

* One entry per child

* You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child you enter into the contest

* Child must be 5 years old or younger on the date of entry

* You must have permission/rights to use the photo you enter

* Photo must have been taken in the last 6 months

* Photos will be accepted from 8am on Friday April 1, 2011 until 11:59pm on Sunday April 3, 2011 (EST) via e-mail.

* Only photos e-mailed to ellen@ellennicolphotography.com with the Subject line “2011 Cutest Kid Contest” during the previously mentioned time will be accepted

* Include your child’s name and age in the e-mail (first name and age will be posted for viewing), as well as your name and contact information

* You must live within a 40 minute radius of the Lowville NY area or willing to make the drive to be eligible for the complimentary session since the session will occur in the studio. The session will occur in the studio and can be redeemed between May and August of 2011.

HOW PHOTOS WILL BE JUDGED

* All entries will be uploaded into an album by Ellen Nicol Photography no later than Monday April 4th, 2011, on the facebook fan page

* To vote for a photo you MUST be a ‘fan’ (or under the new facebook system ‘like’) Ellen Nicol Photography

* Click ‘like’ for the photo you are voting for in the Ellen Nicol Photography album labeled “2011 Cutest Kid Contest’

* Photo with the most ‘likes’ will be the winner. Comments permitted, but WILL NOT count towards the total number of votes

* Ellen Nicol Photography will verify that all ‘likes’ of the winning photo come from Ellen Nicol Photography facebook fans, ‘likes’ from non-fans will not be counted

* Voting will close on Monday, April 11th at midnight.

* Official winner will be notified and announced on Wednesday April 13th, 2011.

WHAT YOU WILL WIN

* The parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo that receives the most ‘likes’ will receive a complimentary mini session (30 minutes in length, max 4 people) and 5 high resolution images on CD.

* Photo session must be booked within 30 days of winning and completed before August 31, 2011

* No other promotions or discounts can be applied

Additional prints will be available for purchase at retail prices listed at http://www.ellennicolphotography.com/ but prints can be made from your CD

I’m looking for kids ages 6 Months to 1 Year for this contest.

To enter please send me your best snapshot of your kids to ellenicolphotography@twcny.rr.com  (yes that is the correct email with Fresh Faces Entry in the subject line.

You can send in your entries until Saturday March 14, 2009.  After I receive all the awesome enteries you are going to send me I will post them to my blog and YOU will get to vote for the winner.  The voting will end March 21, 2009 and I will annouce the winner just in time for my new studio opening.

The winner will receive a free portrait studio session and a 5×10 Storyboard.

Of course there are always rules….

*To enter you must promise to send the contest to every person you know so they can vote on your child

*Winning session is for 1 child only.

*Winning session will be a 60 minute session.

It’s that time of year again people!!!  Time to vote for your 2008 favorite!  This is also contest #2 leading up to my new studio grand opening!

This year is going to be a little bit different in that not only will the winners receive prizes but so will the voters!

~Winners will receive the following:

1st Place Image – 11×14 of image in contest &  a $50 credit towards a new session!
